Yebo. Regardless of the type of vehicle you drive, or whether an accident was your fault or not, your policy will include an excess.

What will happen if my tracking device is damaged?

I use my bakkie for another business, must I declare this?

You know your risks better than the insurance company does, so it is always good to keep your insurer informed, as the saying goes – knowledge is power. If you are using your bakkie for construction only, the insurance industry refers to this as a material disclosure and you have the duty to advise the insurance company about the other businesses you are using your bakkie for.
